1. Shogun (Hulu)
Historical Drama
I have yet to read the book that this is based on, but I definitely want to. Because of that, I know nothing about this show other than it is set in feudal Japan. All I know is that it looks amazing based solely off the trailer, and the cast is great!
2. 3 Body Problem

This is blasphemy! I haven't read the book this is based off of yet. I could have sworn I have but looking back, I was thinking of a different sci-fi book by Cixin Liu. The trailer looks so good and it's one of my most anticipated shows of the year.
Movies
1. Spaceman

I am so intrigued by this movie. I love Adam Sandler and his non comedic movies tend to be extremely good. Seriously, go watch Punch Drunk Love and tell me this man can't act. I can't wait to watch this as I no little to nothing about this. I sort of like my sci-fi that way though.
2. Damsel
Fantasy
I read this book last year, and I remember hearing that the book was based off the movie but the author was given creative license. I may be wrong but I think the movie is going to be different than the book. I didn't love the book, but thought it was just okay. I'm guessing it's going to be the same basic structure of the book so I know what to expect, but I'm looking forward to seeing the differences.
